In March 2015, Mr. Debashish Nayak, director of Center for Heritage Management, Ahmedabad University was feeling anxious at his office in Ahmedabad city in the Gujarat State of India. He was very proud to have started the Ahmedabad Heritage Walk Movement, which was accepted as an ideal model for inner city renewal to revive old cities in India and the world.
